County Medical is a UK based doctor led initiative that aims to make private healthcare more affordable and accessible for the general public. It operates through two separate and independent companies, County Medical Services limited and County Medical Healthcare Limited.

Our current projects include:

• A video consultation platform rich in functionalities where you can book online consultations with specialist doctors allowing you to speak with a specialist much sooner than if you had to wait for a face to face appointment. This is pending CQC approval.
• A lifestyle and Medical Blog where you can read articles on lifestyle and medical issues, many of which will be written by medical professionals, giving you valuable information about common medical conditions, how to live a healthier lifestyle, top tips on preparing for an operation and much more
• A business database which is an online list of medical businesses, services, and professionals. It serves as a one-stop platform for patients, healthcare providers, and medical businesses to find and connect with each other. A virtual market place.
• A private medical insurance scheme underwritten by a Lloyds syndicate and marketed by Pulse insurance Ltd. County Medical Healthcare Limited was responsible for founding and developing this.

While our focus is national, we plan to grow in a modular fashion so that our services remain relevant to regional populations, hence the choice of our name.

We  have further plans in the pipe line which when put together will have a potentially transformative impact on the private healthcare sector.
